So how's your Kindle?
Have not been reading these past 2 months. No time 😒

As for the Kindle, must confess that I enjoy reading from the old fashioned way, through books itself. Personally, I enjoy the sensory pleasures that comes from reading from books. Thumbing through the pages and going back to certain pages or sections in the book just to re-read a favourite part or to clarify certain parts of the story which I have forgotten or not sure of. Can't quite do that with the Kindle. :roll:

Still, no regrets as the Kindle has other advs too - lighter to hold, eco friendly and helps save space on my bookshelves. Depends on my mood, sometimes I would buy e-book for the Kindle and when I'm broke :moneyflies: , will borrow from NLB πŸ˜‰

Not rich lah. He gadget crazy. It is his way of justifying buying the iPad. Cos if he got it for himself, he scared I nag. Now he got 1 for me and saw that I like it, he say he getting 1 for himself. πŸ˜›

Did not get it in Singapore. He wanted to get it when it first launched in US but no stock so this time round he managed to get it when he was there.

I finally got a chance to tinker with it after they went to bed last nite. I must say it is one very sleek product. Everything that I have on my iPod touch is double the size on the iPad. The kids were playing cooking mama on the iPad. The other good thing is now all my e-books from Amazon, barns & noble, etc can all be consolidated onto the iPad. It is bigger and heavier then my Kindle but I guess I can live with that for the convenience of having 1 device that allow me to read, play games and watch movies plus a host of other useful apps, like currency converter, world clock, etc.

Checked out the iBook store, too bad, they do not have any free titles, not as extensive as Amazon and some books cost more then Amazon. So for now, I will stick to Amazon ebooks but instead of loading onto the kindle, it will go directly to my iPad.
