If so is it hard? If not is it also hard?(my english is weak i cant think of a way to join them 😞 :oops: ) Thanks for sharing your experiences. By the way love the RI campuc it is just huge. Although i had expected it 😄

It’s good to have a target and to work towards it, I really admire your determination.

Having said that, one has to be realistic and practical as well. Obsession with a goal may not be too healthy, esp. if you find it hard to let go later. PSLE and going to RI is only 1 small part of your life - how many people out there are successful without going thru’ RI? Just try your best, but don’t get burn out in the process. I’m not trying to "pour cold water", just want to add a word of caution to a talented youth like you. There is a lot more in life than just exam and going to choice schools…you will learn that over time!

Agree with that. RI doesn't give out many confirmed offers. Last year, my son was in P6. While many boys received confirmed offers from HCI, only a handful secured confirmed offers from RI. Many has wait-list offer though. Guess the school will look at the PSLE score eventually. Those who excel in all subjects, perform well in CCA and do well in interview will have a confirmed offer through DSA. That's my observation.


Not worth all the trouble just to get a wait-list offer. If one is already that good, sure he'll get a good PSLE score and be able to pick any school he likes.
Perhaps competition is so stiff that the school has headaches choosing among so many qualified candiadates.

In HCI, there's one too. Not all, but its crammed of people from DSA (BOTH sports and acad). I'm being put into such a class although I'm not from DSA.

GAT has nothing to do with math, science or language. It's a General Ability Test. And it's non-verbal. As i said 'no words\" !!!!!

So it's just lots of patterns & puzzles, that's all.
