The texture is smoother and my two older kids liked it much better. However, the liquid from the scallops left a dried layer of crust after cooking. This I had to scrub a bit with hot water. Fortunately, didn't take long to come off.<br /><br />By the way, do you use oil when you cook yours? The last time when I used happy call pan, my scallops were more browned, but I couldn't recall if I had used oil.
