Do you know where to get a good playmat for baby? I know from friends that there is this korean brand not too bad but must order from this website (which he forgotten). Anyone know something about this?

However, once they start to crawl you canot expect them to stay in the playmat anymore.


Neverthless, I find playmat is useful even till now. Nowadays, my kids can play lego on playmat, skipping rope on playmat and even play toy cars on it. It helps to cushion the sound.

We also use the playmat whenever we play \"picnic\" at home. The kids get food on the mat and easy to clean too. ๐Ÿ˜„

I believe LG mats are of better quality than Parklon ones, which are said to be softer. I own an LG prime mat myself and I think it's a very good floor mat that can cushion my boy from falls.

Another gd mat which I recently came to know about is the Tessellation Play Mat. As another forumer mentioned, once ur baby learns to crawl, a mat may not be so useful anymore. The Tessellation Play Mat is not just a floor mat, but can also be a mathematical puzzle, ride-on toy and even a platform for kids to engage in imaginative play. So ur child can use it even after he/she outgrows other floor mats.

LG is said to be more superior. However, I went and google and I realised both parklon and LG is from the same manufacturer. I think it's juz a matter of branding. I bought the parklon one and it has served me well. It's made of non-toxic materials so u wun have to worry about baby biting. In fact, it is so comfy that if u lie on it, u can fall asleep. I think it is slightly thicker than a yoga mat. Plus it is also very easy to clean as dirt can be easily wiped off or rinse off... I usually use those sterilized wet wipes to clean it and it is so easy ๐Ÿ™‚

It really is very good, esp for bbs learning to walk. I have a playyard to keep the baby within the playmat and he loves it. btw, I am letting go my playyard and the mat as I have just shifted and there's no space in my new house. after they get proficient at crawling, then they will crawl all over and no longer want to be 'limited' to the mat. unless you get the playyard to 'barricade them in', which is another matter.

not much diff between the LG prime and parklon imho. ๐Ÿ™‚

Smallsmallworld will be having a exhibition at Expo from 3 - 6 June at Expo Hall 6B, booth E9. Heard those mats selling there will be cheaper than purchase from their web.

I find itโ€™s useful when theyโ€™re just starting to crawl. Now, I use them when they play lego so as not to disturb the neighboursโ€™ below. Itโ€™s easy to clean and keep, too.
