<![CDATA[SPERS-SEC exam]]>Hi everyone! Help needed here … we will be returning to Singapore from overseas in Jan 2026 and my DD will be taking the SPERS-Sec exam in Sept 2026 and the plan is to immerse her in a secondary school prior to that with intensive SPERS-Sec tuition.

It is critical that we find a good SPERS-Sec tutor who knows the papers well and can drill her (those long suffering type).

I don’t think MOE helps with finding tutors. You will have to source private tutoring for your child. It depends on what your child needs - filling gaps between what was taught overseas and what is taught in Singapore? Or just an overall review of the relevant year’s work? If it’s the latter, you can try enrolling your child at a tuition centre if they have a vacancy. If more individual attention is needed, your may need to find a one-to-one tutor, but many will be fully occupied now as it’s approaching the year end exams. Perhaps relatives or family friends might be able to help if they are familiar with the Singapore syllabus?
