<![CDATA[Halloween / Trick or Treat]]>Anyone knows where I can bring my kids for trick or treat? Itโ€™s a big event celebrated in some malls, subdivisions and neighbourhoods in Philippines but here in Singapore, I think, itโ€™s not a practice. Can anyone suggest a good place to go for trick or treats.

Do parents in singapore go trick a treat with their children? Where we are staying, we have many foreigners kids coming by our place every year the last 2 weekends in Oct for Trick or treat. This year thinking of bringing my kid out as well. But do we need to dress up?

Go n take the kids out n have fun!! U r lucky, if i take my kids to TnT, the neighbours would think we r crazy. I grew up in ang moh land and I used to LOVE TnT. S'pore kids don't know what kind of fun they r missing.

Also dressing up is part of the fun hun. Go all out or just put on an old sheet with eye holes.

We may attend parties when we're teens or adults but I guess that's about it. However, this doesn't mean that Singaporeans on the whole don't know anything about Halloween so I guess if your neighbourhood has lots of families celebrating it, why not join in by dressing up and going trick-or-treating door-to-door? Just a note though: Don't be disheartened if no one answers the door (they may think you are some salesperson) or they think you're nuts or close the door in your face (maybe the older generation who don't know anything about Halloween?).

This is exactly what I'm looking for. May I know where exactly in Woodlands do you go? What street? landmark? We don't have a car and we have 3 kids in tow. Halloween isn't too hot for people in Singapore... the best we have are horror movies on TV during that period. We have the Chinese' 7th month celebrations though. Does that count :lol: ?
