Term: 404
What it means: Someone who is completely clueless
Origin: The Internet's HTTP 404 Error page, displayed when a page cannot be found
Usage: \"Don't ask Jim, he's 404.\"

Term: Bandwidth
What it means:Ability to accept a project or idea
Origin: The capacity of online data transfer
Usage: \"I don't have enough bandwidth for this project.\"

Term: CLM (Career-Limiting Move)
What it means: An ill-advised action that will threaten one's promotion chances
Origin: Not known
Usage: \"Scolding the boss is a serious CLM.\"

Term: Seagull manager
What it means: A supervisor who flies in, makes a lot of noise and mess, then leaves
Origin: Neighbourhood birds that create a lot of trouble
Usage: \"The seagull manager voided our entire proposal.\"

Term: Strategic staircase
What it means: An exaggeration of tactical steps and extra effort put in to improve performance
Origin: A staircase being a metaphor for progression
Usage: \"We have planned a strategic staircase for our department.\"

Term: CYA (Cover your ass)
What it means: Protect yourself
Origin: Not known
Usage: \"Better CYA and get all your documents ready to show.\"

Term: Blueskying
What it means: To replace the cliche \"think out of the box\"
Origin: Western phrase \"blue-sky thinking\"
Usage: \"For this project, we need to do some blueskying.\"

Term: Blamestorming
What it means: To figure out who is the party to blame for the error
Origin: Brainstorming
Usage: \"We must blamestorm so that we can get out of the blame.\"

What it means: Being tasked/appointed to do something not within scope
Origin: Army??
Usage: He got arrowed to be part of the D&D committee

Term: Fly Aeroplane
What it means: Being stood up
Origin: Chinese phrase

Term: Ducks in a row
What it means: Staff readily accept an idea without offering their own
Origin: Unknown
Usage: \"For this initiative, the staff are like ducks in a row, no feedback for it.\"

Term: No picture No sound
What it means: Completely MIA
Origin: Maybe from Chinese
Usage: \"After he worked on this project offsite, no picture no sound.\"

Term: No Action Talk Only (NATO)
What it means: Talk more than do
Origin: Unknown
Usage: \"He always like to NATO only, never seen any outcome so far.\"

Just to add to the list of what I heard in the office:

CMI - usually to bitch about another colleague or boss who’s not up to mark or competent enough.

bo jio - I learnt that this means to date someone.

makan or tapao - to lunch out or lunch in

wayang - to describe colleagues who like to put up a show to impress the boss

por - to curry favour

sa kar - to impress the boss

chio bu or yan dao - to describe good-looking people

sing jiao - a newbie

lau jiao - a veteran

chop chop - to tell someone to get the thing done quickly without wasting time.

yaya papaya - to describe a snobbish colleague

chiongster or sipeh onz - to describe a very diligent and hardworking colleague
