If so, then doing well in a science diploma course, plus all the \"extras\" will stand him in good stead. If his sciences are weak, then would he survive the long road to becoming a doctor? Then maybe he should cast his aspirations wider. Encourage them to shoot for their dreams. Nothing shld be impossible if they make extra effort &amp; still balance their life to enjoy the learning process.<br /><br />There was a young chap who achieved the dream to study medicine. May not be the traditional route but possible.
