Due to the large amount of data on our forum, some new posts haven’t been showing up in the “Oldest to Newest” view, so this is the best workaround at the moment.

If you suspect that you’re still seeing only the old posts in each discussion thread, click on your profile icon on the right, and then select the Settings option:

You will reach a page where you can customise all your forum settings, including this:

If these are your settings, you should have no issues viewing the newest posts in each discussion thread. Hope this helps!

Apart from having the first post of the topic appearing in a different colour from the subsequent replies, our tech team has added this:

Whenever the original poster responds, an “OP” (Original Poster) label will be displayed next to their replies.

Our tech agency has made the change: Only the first post of every thread will have a light blue background. All other posts will have a white background:

What’s the difference between Unread Posts and Recent Posts (on the top left of the page, below the search bar)?

Recent Posts → shows the latest activity across the forum.

Unread → shows threads you’ve opened before, which now have new replies you haven’t seen yet.

So if you never opened a thread, it won’t appear in Unread — only ones you’ve already looked at and “need” to catch up on.

Also, if you’re currently reading a thread and you click on “Recent Posts” or “Unread,” you’ll be exiting the thread. We had one user who got confused because she thought she could access the newest post in the thread by clicking “Recent Posts,” but it’s not thread-specific. (If this has been an issue for you, do share it with us too!)

I think your view settings are for newest to oldest. The default setting is from oldest to newest.

I didn’t realise this! I don’t recall changing it. I’ve set it to “oldest to newest” now - I think I’ll find this more intuitive.

I have a request about arrangement of posts - I like that the original post is pinned at the beginning, but could it be marked out in some way? Like a different colour, with a label saying “original post”? It’s a bit confusing that the first post is at the top, then the rest are in reverse order (with latest first).

@thebottomsupblog Thanks! Maybe give us at least 12 to 24 hrs? Sometimes, I only realise I made an error much later, definitely not within a few seconds or even minutes.
On the old board, the poster could edit without any time limits.

We just received a user question on how to edit posts:

Simply click on the three dots at the bottom right of your post, to reveal the menu. You may not be able to see all of the options shown in this screencap, but you can definitely edit or delete your post.

Whenever I try that, I get a message that I can only edit a post within 5 seconds of posting. That effectively means that I’ve never been able to.

Update 1: For regular users, the default setting for edits is currently 5 seconds. We are speaking to our tech team to increase this window.

Update 2: The forum default setting has been changed — users now have a 24-hour window to edit new posts.
