You can definitely tighten a flabby tummy with stomach exercises but if the skin is loose and that's causing the flab then you might want to try some self massage with lots of lifting steps. A tightening and lifting product used with the massage with give you better results.

As a mum who has been doing slimming massage for my customers for many years, i've seen alot of tummies with all sorts of problems but exercise is still a must for toned muscles Massage really helps with the lifting and tightening of the skin

I have some massage steps i use on myself which i can share here but not sure if i can scan it and post it as an image here, will try!

cloudburst

Reply to suggestions for flabby tummy? on Fri, 30 Dec 2011 00:54:08 GMT

Nope it’s in Gel form.

Tummy exercises will help. But that’s not enough if you have layers of fat covering up those nicely toned muscles.

Therefore, second, you need to do some serious calorie burning exercise - brisk walking, running, swimming etc., fairly regularly. Actually, I think this is more important than tummy exercises. In fact, some forms of exercise are very good at toning the core too, so tummy exercises may not be so critical.

Finally, you need to control your food intake. So what if you are running and burning 500 calories if you go for a 2000 calorie meal after that…don’t eat too little either coz then your body will go into starvation mode …

I’m very sceptical about ‘quick fixes’ that are on the market. The only effective quick fix is probably surgery…
