Over the past few years working with students applying to top global design schools like Parsons and UAL, one thing that consistently surprises parents is how different portfolio expectations are today.

Every strong portfolio really begins with a question:
“What do I want to say, and how do I say it in a way that’s truly mine?”

It’s much less about polished final pieces, and much more about process, experimentation, and developing a clear personal voice.

This July, Albus Arts and Design will be running a 5-day Portfolio Preparation Intensive in Singapore (for ages 15–18), led by Parsons and UAL professors, to help students:
