I know that u are hoping to find somewhere for your child to perform. Family gatherings, school performances are a good platform and maybe u can check with your child’s teacher. As for listening to other kids playing, it can be also an experience.</p>

My friend organised an impromptu session during one of the school hols. She gathered some kids from the neighbourhood and viola, we had a performance night (with mommies and daddies as the audience). That night, we have piano with violins, violins with cello, violin quartet, solo piano &amp; violin performances. A fun-filled night.  :love: <br /><br />mum05, if you are looking for more public performances, perhaps can try putting your kid up for performance at friends' or relatives' weddings. But then, my ds is also in school orchestra (which is a little easy for him altho' most are his age).  <br /><br />No string orchestras or symphony orchestras in CC, sadly,  except for bradell heights, i think?? Usually they would be happy for free entertainment. Look for info under Rules &amp;Regulations (pdf).<br /><br /><br />If your child is in the childcare, may be can ask other children doing violin gather together for a mini performance to entertain their school mates during tea break (Need to consult CC and their parents though).  Again, just my thoughts.
