My daughter’s school uses the My Pals Are Here series. We understand there are many different ways to teach addition, subtraction, etc. so we don’t want to teach her the wrong way and confuse her. Her school doesn’t offer any guidance for parents.</p>

My P1 son also using the My Pals are Here book.<br /><br /><br />I got those manipulative tools used in the books like the linking cubes and weighing scales to demonstrate.  I think it helps him greatly.  I also buy the step by step maths assessment book for him to do<br /><br />Hope that helps.</p>
