I am an old student of this school, and I graduated like 26 years ago keke. My son had been in this school since N1 and now he is in K1.

Everything seems to be the same from my days. Loving and warm teachers, happy children who look forward to going to school everyday. My friends' kids who graduated from this school, all say that their children transit into primary school very well.

I am keen to transfer my kids to this school. My kids used to attend extended hours in kindergarten hence not sure if the academic is something that is similar?.. I am aware that its only 3hours.

Teachers are warm and caring. They send out mail to the kids once in a while (my kod very happy to receive own mail). Oso got pressie for child on his/her birthday.

I believe curriculum is well rounded … aside from academics they got painting, water play, sand/playdoh etc. My kid loves it there. Highly recommended.

MOrning session full. I believe they are all either promoted from Nursery or their church member, cuz I know church members get priority in the registration. They get to registration one or two weeks before it’s open up to public.


I notice their session is only 2 hours. is it enough to teach many things?
I am seriously considering putting my kid to their enrichment classes. I wonder if they are good and who do they outsource to?

Even the principal herself said so, but declined to reveal how many kids are in the queue.


I am just wondering, if I sign up my kid for next year K1, will there a waiting list too? Or is the waiting list for those who join half way (ie. in the middle of the school year)?

Me n my husband are just doing a \"B\" plan ....
Just in case my son keep crying non stop & don wanna go school.
I'm so worried ... so we thought if things don go on smoothly we might hire a maid at my mum place to look after the bb and my son... than maybe start him on a 3h programme next year ...

Haiz .. because he is only 2 yrs old now ... i also heart pain to put him in childcare for full day since they don have a half day programme

I did went to my first school in clementi area but i don really like that environment .. is a half or full day childcare right.

How old is your son now 🙂 Do they have any outdoor playground & How is the environment? isit clean .. Do they provide meal in that 3h?

Because they open for register for 2011 programme in May.

My son been there since Jan. The school is very very good and the teachers are so warm. When my son was ill, they even post us a get well card. Not once, but 2 times!

However, i am pulling him out and put him to My First Skool near my in laws and my place after June.

It is a sad and diffcult decision but because he takes the school bus and he is the last to alight...quite poor thing.

I strongly encourage you to send you kid there 🙂 Btw, i will be posting his uniform to sell. Let me know if you keen to purchase.

my elder daughter is in K1 this year.
Clementi Woods kindi has a well rounded curriculum in terms of English and Chinese language.
The teachers are caring and bond very closely with the children.
Last year when I was at the graduation ceremony, i was impressed with the performance put up by the kids. They are so confident of themselves on the stage. My girl used to be very shy but i am surprised she was so confident with the performance.
Enrolment around Jul/Aug. Call them early and know the dates. I remember arriving there seeing long queue of parents registering. 80% were already taken up by the siblings and the church members.

Tot of putting him at Newton Kindergarden with strong Chinese teaching but its quite far. Well, my hubby cannot teach chinese because his parents are very English spoken. And now my son is taken care of by my mother in law…for sure he will be like daddy. cannot speak a word of Chinese.

How old is you girl now? Still studying there?

In fact there were other races like malay, indian ,caucasian pupils there too. And they all do Chinese! I don’t know how they manage. But generally I feel the children are happy there. Go and have a look. I did that with my daughter in tow and she fell in love with the place the moment she set foot there, mainly because there was a play kitchen and swing cars etc.
