May be you can try this method at home. My daughter's spoken Tamil is also bad since it is not our real mother tongue. She does not know how to end the sentence which is actually important to bring the tenses in. Yours not too late. He does pick up fast but doesnt want to talk - and really language is learnt by talking. Boys already dont have the edge that girls have over language skills. He also doesnt like Tamil movies/songs unless it is like Robo kind of movies . He loves Chitti, lol, mybe i should get a dvd and make him watch a few times...<br /><br />I do not know to read /write tamil ( could say i am of P1/P2 standard) - that makes my job very hard. Few days back i was trying to read a story to him, seeing me struggle, he said - \"Ma, I think this is high level for you\"  :stupid:  <br /><br />Trying to rope in my hubby but not enough time for him. Plus some men dont know how to teach , how to make lesson interesting etc, but no choice for now. I can talk very well in Tamil , though. P3 surely I will need tutor,  for P2 I want to manage .
