<![CDATA[Where is your favourite place to hunt for furniture?]]>It has been a long long while since I have to pay attention to the house...so really lost touch on where to start to browse and form an idea on what I like for my new place...please help! :?:


Of course, pretty much depends on your preferred theme...but good to share where you would go to if you want to buy furniture (if you are not getting it done up by an ID/contractor) - dining table, chairs, sofa, coffee table etc...

The installation guy asked me is it free parking and I say yes yes free parking.. if hdb will likely need pay parking fee..
Yes free parking is good for them.. they should reconsider charging extra $ for condos. I never had this problem at my hdb.

They are saying that our condo doesn’t have the height for their lorry/ vans. Think max 2.1m or 3m. So need to charge extra for EVERYONE, who lives in this condo! extra $$ because they don’t have smaller van? Come on.

Other cases is the huge delivery truck got no place to park inside compound near the left. Then they gotta factor trolley etc push far distance to the lift…all extra mafan for them.

This. Find one on the outskirts of the nicest part of town, or closer to the \"young money\" district, where younger adults flip furniture on a much more regular basis. Because of that, I was able to get half of my furniture for a reasonable price, and it's all solid wood, name brands like Ethan Allen, Restoration Hardware, and so on.

Make use of used furniture marketplaces as well. My wife was able to gain access to the private marketplaces for the wealthy neighbourhoods in our area on Facebook, where she discovered absolute bargains. Offerup and the like require more effort, but there is also value to be had.

thanks for the info. my current one is also from Cellini. 1 piece sofa but 2 seat cushion and I find the joint part very uncomfortable to sit on. Cellini quality is very good. my sofa so many years old, but still in very good condition.
