The reason was I couldn't find a formula for above 1-year-olds which doesn't contain any added sugar/sucrose/corn syrup etc. They started with full-cream fresh milk - farm house, meiji and for awhile organic milk (horizon and organic valley). Now drinking low-fat meiji and sometimes Nutrisoy soya milk (the no sugar one).

However, both are short and skinny compared to their peers. Not sure if it's b/c they started on fresh milk too early. I tried to introduce formula to them again but they don't like its taste anymore. Last week I found a pro-growth, high-protein formula. Although they're still quite reluctant to drink it, I'm going to try it for a month to see if it helps them to put on some weight

minnie2004

Reply to fresh milk on Tue, 21 Sep 2010 13:38:26 GMT

I heard goat’s milk is good for those who are prone to allergies.
