Please share with me how to manage this. How young were you when you realised you could see? Did you then know they were \"them\"? Supposedly my DS could see them and is not able to decipher what he sees. Thus he could be bothered by these visions for days with nightmares. He is also unable to tell us despite our probing. Did you go through this stage of confusion?

After I moved to an \"unclean\" house, things start to show up. I think I was 12 or 13? Really can't recall if I had seen them at younger age. I was much older, hearing was the first thing. My first time hearing a spirit crying was suddenly in the mid of night. I wondered where on earth this sound came from, at that time. Terrified, I covered my ears with pillow and myself with blanket. The sound is still there. Crystal clear, just like listening to a walkman.

Can you be more specific about your DS? Is he seeing things at home or outside? Depending on the child, he/she should be able to tell what is frightening him by 5 or 6 years. Try not to bring him out or come back late at night especially during this month.

Teach him to say prayers/ or cite scriptures, when confronted with fear/spirits, when he is uncomfortable or having a nightmare such as unable to wake up (pray in his dreams).

If situation arises, tell him to walk away, and look for you or daddy.
Some passing spirits are harmless, but if it is making your boy terrified, time to do something.

Did he go to some place before the nightmares started?
How frequent are the nightmares?

Hope he feels calm and better now.

few pple can see.. but most should be able to \"feel\"....


Say.. it was a quiet and clam night.. then suddenly there was a gush of cold air out of the blue.. ( especially when the windows are closed or the area is blocked? ) Or, out of the blue there was a weird smell.. in a normally clean and non-smelly environment..

probably, in your heart, you should know that there's something around lah..

Just practice common sense and respect lah.. Everything should be all right..

No way! No third eye, thank heavens! I think my luck is not good during younger days. It gets better after my then boyfriend's mum (now MIL) gave me a buddhist pendant with scriptures. I do still see sometimes, but not that often.

It is recommended not to let kids wander outside after dusk.

I am definitely a strong believer...that there are more wandering spirits during this month, as well as the time during Qing Ming sometime in April.


I have not experienced it myself but some things happened to my DS during these months in the past and I have learnt my lesson and not to bring him out to \"dangerous\" places late at night. Trust me, some children can be super \"sensitive\". Better be safe than sorry.
