I am thinking of withdrawing my child from that 'Defacto' School Student Care at Serangoon North Ave 4 (name is modified to avoid their total embarrassment). the operations manager 'Katrine Koh' is a very ugly woman who talks very rudely. they also have a marketing guy called 'abrahim' who is very arrogant .


very disappointed with their service. they dare to call themselves 'premium student care'.

I am planning to start a home based student care in my home next year to help parents look after some P1 kids after their school hours. I had left corporate life to look after my child. Might be two years late.. There's a new after school student care at 45, Burghley Drive called My Learning Sanctuary. Very near CHIJ. I think they also offer Chinese enrichment/tuition classes.

yes, dun really make sense right.. i even asked the guy how come their full day is cheaper and he say to encourage people to put kids there for full day?? still dun make sense to me.. 😜

Yah, I noticed this new centre at north star. But does it offer student care service? I was under the impression that cherie heart only offers childcare service.

i once called them to check on CC.. so weird i was quoted $550 for half day and $540 for full day!!

the guy told me they offer BASC too.. $470 for flexi care..

u wan to try call them and confirm??

They let the children witness a guardian slapping a boy left right on the cheek non-stop and this is not the first time that happens. Passersby also witness this happening to the same boy at the entrance around 6 pm sometimes. When I checked with the supervisor she said the mum allowed the uncle to discipline in that way. That’s child abuse and they just close one eye.

There is a student care centre opposite Yang Zheng Pri Sch under a HDB block. Think its Serangoon ave 3. I pass by there everyday, but for the life of me, I cannot seem to remember the name. I think its Radiant studentcare or something.
