A newbie starting a new thread.

I have been reading KSP for the past few months.
In the topic of Gifted, GEP, talented, etc …
I can’t help but feel that there is a certain difference between a gifted DS and DD.
With GEP Screening coming soon, thought it would be good for parents to discuss the difference between Gifted DS and DD. This will help us as parents to better communicate with them and appreciate them.
As mentioned in other Gifted threads, inability to solve sophisticated maths problems doesn’t necessary equate to the child not being gifted or talented. and likewise the inability to read 4-5 yrs ahead.
