During DS3's time, Nanyang was the overall winner but none of their students is in the final list this year. If I did not remember wrongly, Tao Nan did not participate then but now their students are in the finals (based on my assumption that students from popular schools should be able to make it to the final compared to those from neighbourhood schools as they are able to field more participants). Having said that, some students from other schools may have participated but didn't get into the final round which explains why the school is not in the list.<br />Training and passion do help a child in a way but IMHO, the most important factor is the child must be gifted cos no amount of training is enough to prepare a child for such tough questions.
