For the past few months, I've been reminding my DS to only touch his Study books/notes etc and unable to get this \"reminders\" out of my system.......While my DD is busy watching his fav TV shows, playing Online games, chatting & reading all those (locked up during PSLE)story books, am still unable to face the reality that 2010 PSLE IS FINALLY OVER!!!!!

Looks like am having the PSLE Blues 😞
As a parent, am desperately in need of a break....!!!!

really glad it's over....both psle and GEP.

for the last half a yr, everyone at home very tensed. Mommy was screaming, daddy face always black coz mommy's nagging spillover onto everyone at home. psler started grunting and displaying the kinda teenger angst manifesting at 12.

now.....we will see some peace that has been missing for too long!!! :grphug:

DS seems lost and don’t know what to do. He said that he’s so used to doing lots of work, and now he has nothing to do… Now he’s worried about what to bring to school tomorrow… haiz…

DD finished her PSLE yesterday but told her not to make so much noise as older DD still have exam until Wed. She read a book, played ITiuch quietly and then tell me \"SO BORING\".

              :stupid:

In my view, the kids may enjoy for 3-4 days to release their pent-up tension and stress. But beneath all the enjoyment, there are 3 questions in the minds of most kids:

                (1) The papers were easier this year. Most of my classmates say they have done well. Does it mean my T-score will fall?

                (2) Will the CoP of various schools go up or go down this year when compared to last year?

                (3) In spite of all my year-long efforts, what if I end up with an unexpectedly low T-score and hence in a secondary school of "Not-my-choice"?

If you quitely probe your DD or DS, they will surely share their above worries. As parents, let us encourage them not to worry too much since there is little that can be done about these ‘unknowns’.

Yes totally agreed. I hear kids telling one another that PSLE this year is quite easy…

In this case, if they make any careless mistake, the consequences will be quite terrible cos everyone else will do very well.

But then again, it’s right to say that there’s nothing much that anyone can do right now…

Yes. Why can’t they do it the science mcq way - .5 of the questions on physical science and .5 on the other type? Now I feel bored. No good tv shows, only stuff on my computer is a bunch of simulators and google chrome…
