Does formula milk cause allergies such as itchy eyes, blinking, skin rashes (off and on)? Do I need to put my 2yo gal on a hypoallergenic formula and what do you recommend? She was on NAN HA once as an infant but stopped as she rejected the taste.

She is currently on Mamil Gold Step 3 (we changed many brands - similac, nan ha, s26, pediasure - coz she doesn’t seem to like any). Could an allergy to milk cause her to refuse milk?

She has good bowel movements though but only drinks 120ml in the morning, 120ml after the nap (if at home) and another 180ml at night before sleep. It takes her ages to finish the milk. She also refuses to drink milk in school.

Her weight seems acceptable as she eats well for her main meals and I give her supplements. I am just worried about the allergies since she is already proven allergic to a couple of other things.

She's almost 2. NTUC n cold storage is selling Nan pro 3 at S$28.05, and Nan HA at S$36.00. I usually buy my supply from a Chinese sinseh shop at S$26.00. agree that Nan HA is expensive compared to other brands. Nan pro 3 is in the average range.

Dd2 has always been on the small side. Her birth weight/length was in the normal range - 3.28kg/49.5cm. But for the first year, she's was always in the 3 percentile. Only in recent months that she moved into the 25th percentile. As long as sbe is healthy n happy, I'm not worried. Dd2 is not keen on food and is lazy to chew her food. She's happy eating the same old porridge day in day out.

bebebub

Reply to Milk Brand For BB on Wed, 20 Oct 2010 02:25:05 GMT

BigDevil:
40-month old DS has always been on Friso.
