Then no harm letting DD1 take up a third language  - hopefully can at least cope for 1st 2 years - learning Malay is quite useful especially ordering in hawker centres, communicating with local Malays, going to Malaysia, etc.</p>

I think distance from house is a valid reason. But not sure if they allow you to transfer back when the new center opens later next year. NYGH has a bus that brings the girls going to Bishan MOELC for 3rd language classes.
