If anyone has more information, appreciate your sharing.

How’s the school culture & discipline, support and teachers in general? How is the overall atmosphere like? How’s the behaviour of the students there?

Do teachers provide kids with extra consultations as in are students encouraged to seek consultations?

Are the teachers generally good at teaching the respective subjects?
How’s the o level results?
Is the school doing well in preparing the kids for O levels etc?

What about talent development programs/opportunities and/or programs aside standard curriculum in the school? Are they generally only catered for top scorers?

Since no physical open houses, also unable to pay the school a visit, how is the school compound and facilities? Are they run down etc?

Is there anything in particular to take note of for this school?

Thank you in advance!
Appreciate any kind input as I do not personally know of anybody to get any review of the school

Some teachers are great but overall, the culture and structure in St Gabriel’s Secondary School were bad then. I was like a conduit through which teachers play their games and politics. Some teachers in that school were very imposing on their students, even to the point of using subtle threats. I felt bullied by some teachers there. I was from the symphonic band CCA and still remembered ex - students returned and threw curry bombs on us. Really "no government" in that school then. If I have a son, I will not send him to St Gabriel’s. Heard that the HOD PE/CCA from then returned to become VP. Ex band teacher gone to become HOD English in another school(like seriously?). More than 10 years on, I believe that the culture and structure in St Gabriel’s have changed for the better… Hopefully.
