And my child is P6 this year! I wouldn’t recommend this centre to anyone.

Better reconsider before enrol your kids to Han. Terrible management, terrible staffs and terrible teachers as well. I just help my child to do withdrawal

May i ask what your expetience was? I am thinking of enroling my child at Han's in yishun.

There is a change in Oral Exam format this year. A narration/Q&A based on a video clip will be incorporated in the exam. Hence, it would be better if the tutor is able to have some relevant video clips on hand to practise with the student.

Incidentally I called up Han Language Centre to enquire about Chinese Preparatory Course for my kid who is sitting for his \"O\" level Chinese this year.


Their reply was that they already have a oral component in their usual Chinese lesson for Secondary students. Hence, they would not be holding a separate course just on Chinese Oral.

I was a little disappointed as I thought that Han Language, being one of the larger Chinese Enrichment Centres, could perhaps help our local students here to brush up on their Chinese oral particularly now that the new examination format includes Video Clips which most private tutors generally would not have the resources to produce the necessary materials to coach their students.

I was hoping that perhaps Han could organise some intensive oral training courses during the Jun holidays for \"O\" level students just like they would for PSLE students.

how do u find P3 Chinese composition taught, at Han branch (Toa Payoh West cc) ?

I think you can personally go down to the centre to find out more. If she's happened to have her break time, she would love you explain to you more!

I think having a good teacher that can engage the kids is the first and foremost factor in learning Chinese. You can have the best material in Singapore but an uninterested teacher will just ruin everything.
