I hope these will be a good momento for them when they grow up. <br /><br />But I think this will not work cos I’m seriously running out of space! And it takes lots of time and effort to do so. <br /><br />I would like to know how other parents are managing this. Can u share pls?</p>

Primary backup -  Hard copies. <br /><br />No doubt it may fade over time, but photo restoration technology is available. Yes, agreed it takes time and $$ to print and arrange the photos. Maybe, looking at a different perspective, we should be thankful and grateful that we have all these happy and tedious task to do. <br /><br />AND<br /><br />2. Secondary backup  - External harddisk or/&amp; CDs.<br /><br />I have also uploaded the albums to my ipad and I can view them anytime and anywhere.</p>

I try to find pics from every month so it tracks my son’s growth as well. Into my 4th year now. Developed 4R prints at Harvey Norman at promo 19 cents each. I think promo still on until 31 dec.</p>

Everything can be stored in hard disk… I move over since then, and organise my photos based on yrs… Since 2002 till now, every yr, one <br />directory… And with backup… If i encountered any failure, i still got separate backup… It will only be god’s will if my primary and backups failed at the same time!<br /><br /><br />Now the cons about this… My mom had been complaining abt lack of photos of her grandsons… I bought her a digital photo album and she rejected it… Waste of electrical energy… Now owe her hundreds, if not thousands, of backlog… I understand it is good to have real photo develope, can touch and feel, than digital display…but if space is a constraint, u don’t have much of a choice de.</p>
