Personally I used Merries Diaper for my 3 children. It works fine without any problem. There was one or two times leakage, we believed it was because we forgot to change on time.


There are quite a number of brands available in the market: Huggies, Merries, Mamypoko, Drypers, Pampers, just to name a few, I will suggest you to get a sample of each to touch and see how absorbent they are before committing to one brand. Recently the diapers has colorful pattern but quality went down. After 2-3 hours of wearing it becomes full and will leak if not changed. In the past it cant last 4-6 hours and will not leak even if full. Anyone encounter the same problem.

Sometimes it's expensive compared to other brands.

Recently bought it in a bulk, it's cheaper if your kids are still long way to go from not wearing diapers.

I like Merries 'cos it’s extremely absorbent for runny poo. However, the breatheable side gathers means if diaper full, leakage will happen. Pampers doesn’t leak for me unless very very full but if poo is runny, it will leak.

With DS1, we could use Drypers and MamyPoko. BUT with DS2, Drypers was hopeless as it could not handle the amount of business he does. MamyPoko is very bulky. It didn't fail us totally, although shit leaked from the back before, but btw Pampers Active and MP, PA won hands down. It is thin but very absorbent, it holds huge amounts of poop with no prob, it secures best because of the balloon stretch function. It isn't the cheapest diaper but it does such a great job. We stuck with it as it was thr most accident free diaper we have ever used.


Now that DS2 is older and on solids, his poop is less runny so we are able to use any brand without issue. We are using Drypers and Drypantz he won at a baby contest, Rompers (bought from a fair at Suntec- not bad and very cheap... $5.50 for 20 over pieces), MP pants (yellow economical one, $10+ on sale) and Pampers Active (bought packets of this on standby from a sale at NTUC). 🙂

For wet wipes, we find Kodomo to be cheap and good. We buy in bulk when Watsons has sales. 🙂

It has never leaked eventhough the diapers were soaked and heavy at times. Loved their pull-up pants too. Just so convenient. :love:


Really disliked Pampers. Leaked even if it's not soaked and the diapers tend to disintegrate and become \"lumpy\" inside the lining.

My 3.5yr gal is wearing XL. Although L fits her better but can’t really contain the volume of her urine so sometimes do leak. So decided to change to XL. Initially was afraid urine might leak cos XL is abit loose for her. It has been few mths & so far so gd.

Huggies Ultra is gd… but cutting is small…
