It comprises of 4 different learning packages and serves as a great learning platform that will complement the classroom teaching and learning. It is also in line with the initiative to nurture our students into self-directed learners in the 21st century classroom.

This portal marks tests with full detailed explanations provided, and generates detailed test reports automatically, freeing teachers or parents of any marking or progress tracking load. It also allows parents to monitor their child's progress closely without having to go through the teacher. Past mistakes made in each test will also be stored in the student's account, allowing them to retrieve for revision again nearer to their exams.

These unique features of our portal that differentiates us from the existing online learning tools available for Primary Science teaching and learning!

https://s27.postimg.org/yghxfw0df/Learning_packages_Overview.png\">

https://s23.postimg.org/ieoaxoq2j/TINKERSCIENCE_Flyer.gif\">

To find out more about us or to subscribe, visit our website at http://www.tinkerscience.sg

To request for a trial account to view sample questions, please email us at tinkerscience.online@gmail.com

TinkerScience

Reply to Helpful Science assessment/guide books for P5/6 on Tue, 26 Apr 2016 08:25:00 GMT

Personally don't quite like conquer sc, remained unused so far

still prefer EPH Janet Sim series

bestwishes

Reply to Helpful Science assessment/guide books for P5/6 on Sat, 03 Oct 2015 12:45:07 GMT

using gradual difficulty in science for upper block.

Some answers have explanation for mcq choices. Some answers will bold the key words for sect b. Some have breakdown of marks given for the answers expected for sect b. Can take some time to browse through.

Bring the kid along. From a few books that you chosen, choose similar question, flip to the answers and ask kid which answering structure is better, clearer or in line with the school’s teaching. Discuss. Kids at p5 will like to give some inputs and will feel valued too.

Jmho.

I suggest to use a book that has a lower and upper block version as well as notes in the beginning of all topics will be the most ideal.

It depends on how well the student can grasp the concepts as portrayed in the book. However, some books can be as comprehensive as the rest despite the thickness.

Lastly, choose a book that has the reprinted year the same as the current year. It will enable the student to revise more thoroughly with the revised edition (in my opinion!).
