In this way i have no way to spend this sum of money unless I go down personally to bank to withdraw. Till now this method work for me, I’ll will go down once a year to bank to withdraw money for investment, or else I will not touch money unless for emergency. <br /><br />Hope u guys find my method useful:)</p>

I charge all expenses to supplementary cards. I'm not a big spender. In fact, between dh and I, I am more prudent in spending <br />For cash allowance, it was on ad hoc basis. Dh withdrew $500 cash each time in case there's expenses requiring cash. Replenish as and when. That was 12 years ago when I just began to stay home.
