I read so many people talking about \"ZooPronics\", \"I CAN READ\" and etc... <br /><br /><br />My boy is smart as he know what are we asking him, before answering us...He is smart at talking back to us too... We speak english at hm. But however, I need to update my english too... :oops: <br />But he is very lazy when i ask him to practise writing at home.. Which is the most appropriate time<br />as its already an age where kids can comprehend.<br /><br />I used fingers and beads too… initially.<br />Learning from concrete leads to abstract.<br />Means, we use ‘real’ materials to introduce concepts,<br />teach methodologies and then convert them to mental<br />counting. Do not give up, it will work eventually…<br /><br />Use materials that child likes to count other than beads.<br />It will help develop interest. Child will not realise he<br />is actually learning thru all that playing…<br /><br />Cheers.</p>
