i had recently been there and the feeling i get when i was there was:

1. it's crampy! the corridors are so narrow
2. The direction maps and directions in general is really horrible
3. it's like a super huge supermarket. noisy and warm! 😜

very different feeling from other established shopping centres like Vivovity and Suntec.... 😒 😒

I just want to share my bad experience on last sunday at NEX Skygarden.
I was with my girls age 2yrs+ & 4yr at wet area and was shouted by a rude indian security staff "HEY YOU YES GET OUT… later argued with me "Is your child above 5 yrs old?!Shouting and screaming at my helper and me infront of the public at the skygarden! So Humilating! I will accept if he pull me over to explain prefer no adults going in wet area but not shouting infront of everyone!My girl was frighten and told me dont want to come this playground anymore coz mummy cannot stay with me…so sad for my poor girl!

Yes, our dogs deserve better. They are better off at the REAL Dog Runs! I would rather travel the distance than to use the so-called Dog-unfriendly Dog Park at NEX! :stupid:

i dun find the shopping areas spacious... the space in the shopping centre is pathetic as well. got one area with artificial plants (or whatever u call that setup), dunno why need such a huge space for decoration.

Yup, today. Thought I'd go there and get the yeast and omega milk.

I won't park there anymore. Will park at the Shop and Save carpark in future if need be.

I don't anticipate shopping at NTUC there unless I need items that cannot be bought from the one at Serangoon Ave 3 or S&S.

Guess the positive thing about the place is the wide variety of shops and food places lah πŸ˜„

Okay lah, agree on that. It is definitely bigger than normal NTUC and it has that megamart feel, that's why I said beggers can't be choosers, at least that saves me a trip to AMK Hub for our groceries and best part about this one is that it is a 24-hour branch, so convenient! :celebrate:

apparently the lift doesn't go straight to NTUC on the 4th fl. you have to stop at 3rd fl and access NTUC on 4th fl via escalator... kinda dumb right?


i haven't been yet and don't intend to go until the excitement is over... main draw for me will be the library! hope it doesn't disappoint!

But NTUC is on Level 3 and not Level 4! :?

the NTUC is on the 3rd level leh....
i remembered i had to find the lift from the carpark,
then got out at level 3, and it'll lead to the NTUC
(need to be cautious if walking with small kids, there're quite a no. of cars turning from upper decks and also from other directions). :roll:

but this NTUC is huge lah.....lots of stuff πŸ˜„
