I was a student from Mdm tan's class when i was in primary 5. Her lessons was very interactive and engaging at the same time. She is really capable of capturing student's attention! Her lesson is always very fun, and she is always up to something new. She is good story teller and able to relate the compos being used in life. Whenever we got time, we will head down to her centre to visit her. Recently, her tuition centre at Beauty World just had an open house. And I was there to help out and the response was overwhelming!!! Classes are mostly full, however if you guys still want to try to get a slot, you can try, by contacting Mdm Tan to reserve your places, it's not too late though! many students whom she had taught over the past many years had been grateful for her understanding and her great teaching! She had proven results and the word spreads around, and her classes are now quite popular! If you want you children to do well in their examinations, you might want to consider Mdm Tan's Complete English Programme, many attended and love her class, why not give it a try ? Maybe your kids will love her classes too! :))

Just to share with parents out there about Mdm Tan tuition. My son has just completed his PSLE early this month. I believe he will do well for his English papers. In fact, he has been steadily improving, since we sent him 2 yrs ago to Mdm Tan English tuition. I use the Australian ICAS English paper as a gauge...Quite happy that he went from cert of participation to Credit to Distinction this year! I know that his steady improvement is by no means the effort of his English tuition teacher. Building of language foundation takes time. We are glad we sent him for English lessons early - in 2nd half of P4. Though Mdm Tan's class size is not small, she has very good materials and very structured teaching that really help build the foundation of students. She also has very good holiday programmes during the months of June and Nov/Dec. By SA1 in P5, I already noticed improvements, when my son came home and said that his school teacher shared with his class his well written compo. One time this year, he was the only student in class who got a transformation question correct. When he told his school teacher he learnt it from his tuition teacher, the school teacher even jokingly said the classmates can find out which tuition centre and go sign up for classes. Sigh...can we really rely soley on schools these days to teach our kids? Well, that's another topic.


Anyway, my son continued to learn very good phrases in writing and used them consistently in school. Writing long compo is a breeze as Mdm Tan has filled up his 'word/phrase bank'. Mdm Tan is a very engaging teacher who can arrest the attention of the class through her many personal stories. My son is restless and sometimes challenged her in class. But she has been very tolerant and patient and handled him well. I always tell my so that a good teacher is hard to come by and he must treasure them.
