I am dealing with complex financial instruments for a living yet the complexity to register P1 is not even a little bit less. :stupid:

That hole in your pocket could be the extension of deeper pocket in future.

I'm a strong believer of buying property near a good school is an excellent investment. It's a kill 2 birds with 1 stone strategy.

1. The upbringing in the school enironment is already priceless.
2. The long term appreciation of the property as part of the retirement plan.
I just hope that stone will not kill me. :oops:

Main reasons:

1. That area is expensive. I get something double the price of my current house but only half the size.
2. I increased personal leverage quite a fair bit.
3. The world seems much more fluctuating than before.

Still have 12 months this year. No need so long to have another one. If he wants 3rd one this year also can make it.

Are u dong anything to enhance your chance for getting in the school of choice?

The answer is yes. After extensive reading of the articles and posts, we realize we have to do something. That something costs a hole of 1.7M in our pocket. 😢

I did not even intend to have one. Guess I am more selfish.

Dont get me wrong, I love my DD very much and Fatherhood has its perks but I am not really a raising kids kind of person. Took a lot of bravery and DW encouragement to have one.

Told the whole family, one is enough for me.

Move house 4 times not a lot leh. I am not sure whether it is just me. I always face new problems one after another.

I just moved in current house last year. Did not think of school when decided on the location. (Penalty for not knowing KSP earlier. :stupid: :stupid: )

I am not really fancy popular school but I also do not believe all the schools are the same. We are not old boy, old girl of any school. Then, after research, I realize there is only 1 school within 1KM of my house and it is a girl school. :stupid: :stupid: If I do not do anything, chance is high I will end up at 2CS. Like someone said before, when the child grows up, how can we explain to them that we have made an effort to put him in a reasonably good school.

I am also quite a new member here and I am new daddy. Daughter just turned 1 year old.

Brave for you to have 3. I am going stopping at 1.
