Or more or less good night.

I am Alex and I am twelve. I’m Secondary One but I’m not telling you anything too deep into my personal life. I do hope that you won’t think of me as the ‘typical twelve-year-old’ who ‘roams around the Internet, finding something to do’ or ‘wants help’. I would just say I’m different. I’m not the brightest, I still have lots more to learn in life, but I’m just saying.

Things I like? Not much. Capital punishment, aviation, travel (especially airlines, hotels, cruises, tour agencies and tours), Humanities, computering, cycling, Nintendo, Apple, watermelon, food in general and nature. If you have any questions on travelling, I do keep a whole shelf dedicated to travel brochures. If you also need help with not understanding your child well, don’t worry, I may be able to help as I am a child.

I hope this does not make me seem like I have high self-esteem or anything, sorry if you feel that I’m acting like a mature person.

(P.S. Just in case you’re wondering, my T-Score for PSLE was 233. I’ve studied hard for the past year and I am in the Normal Chinese stream.)

I agree that both good values and justified punishments are needed for our culture. However, capital punishment is not meant to force the masses to do good deeds, but to prevent them from doing bad ones. Less people would commit bad deeds, not more people commit good deeds. Once bad deeds are out of the way, the country would be safer. As to how the country could be kinder, it is up to the government to decide how they would instill good values in the masses.

Also, even if such criminals still carry such bad values, they dare not execute them. It does not matter whether its that they are forced to or not, as long as the public is safe, the path for a kinder country exists. If evil reigns supreme, more people would be harmed, and thus even if good deeds are performed, their effort would go to waste knowing that it is useless as they have a higher possibility of being harmed, thus causing a reserved culture in which the people only care about themselves.

Alex001

Reply to New twelve-year-old reporting... on Fri, 21 Jan 2011 06:45:38 GMT

:welcome: :welcome: to KSP, Alex001!

Funx3

Reply to New twelve-year-old reporting... on Fri, 21 Jan 2011 06:36:36 GMT

Alex001:
Indeed I do.

Capital punishment is a death penalty given to those who commit hideous crimes against the law.

The only way that our country is safe is that there must be law and order.

Indeed.
