But I am refering to school CCAs eg. orchestral, badminton, etc…<br /><br />I first heard about it from a relative recently, whose kids’ school charges P1 and P2 for CCA as it’s not compulsory.<br /><br />In our case, for P1 and P2, though CCA are not compulsory, it comes at no extra cost for the kids to join.<br /><br />Meanwhile for overseas immersion, my P4 is joining a immersion trip to Nanjing. Total cost is around $1.5K. $200 from edusave and the rest, out of own pocket.</p>

It may be subsidised or it may not be.  The schools might have a special fund for it, or it might be funded by a rich alumni or the students might have to raise funds through special projects for the subsidy. Has not had to pay for anything, unlike in pri school. I guess too tedious for them to process ad hoc deduction of varying amount</p>
