I did check the prices of it's black and color ink cartridges before that (which I thought was reasonable). Suitable if you or your children need to have high quality printing but of course the quality is not as good as those colour print outs from big photocopier machine.<br /><br />Ink tank's ink is EXTREMELY affordable. Good if you or your child needs to print a lot. You can print like nobody's business. <br /><br />When we moved from inkjet to ink tank, DS complained that his report print out quality is not as good as before. So I told him to print in school if need high quality printing. We bought one in 2017. We are impressed with the first few months of using our Brother printer then all of a sudden it quit working. When we brought the machine to the service center, the repair is costly and we were suggested to buy a new one instead.</p>

However good the printing quality is, it is not worth the health risk. <br /><br />Anyway, we are still very happy with our ink tank printer that we bought a few years ago.
