Ds2 had an adverse reaction when young and his vaccinations are never done by school. The allergist will discuss with me before we decide on any. My point was just that according to the doctor, it is not easy to make alternative arrangements for psle even when you are sick.

I have not done any flu vaccinations YET and i think the statistics on that is more mixed. :nailbite: I finally decided to let the boys take chicken pox vaccinations because of higher risk of complications of chicken pox in individuals with eczema, and correlation between chicken pox and shingles in old age. And also that why DSA is also important. If your DD/DS has any CO/WL from DSA it is always a safeguard especially those very good student or GEP student.

my 2 cents worth.

walterp

Reply to What if medical problems arises during PSLE on Tue, 19 Apr 2011 08:36:49 GMT

It doesnt help that exams ( for most schools i think) are held in air con halls. Immune system will be affected by lack of sleep. 2 months before psle, avoid deep-fried food, eat lots of fruits and vegetable, drink enough water, avoid crowded places, exercise regularly. But sometimes, they are so stressed that they will still fall sick even with all kinds of precautions.
