<![CDATA[New daddy here...]]>Hello everyone! Just signed on to this great community! I am the proud daddy of a 20-months old toddler and am now thinking of his future educational path.


Trouble is… I am a Singapore PR who studied primary school in Malaysia and continued my secondary (St. Patricks School), college (VJC) and university (NUS) in Singapore.

Does that mean as far as primary school goes, I am totally at a disadvantage already?

Would appreciate any advice anyone has on this topic.

Not only that. You should also apply as a parent volunteer (PV) with the school you are interested in sending your child to.

not totally disadvantage, just lack the advantage of priority enrolment to a ex-primary school. Majority of PR & Citizens are in the same boat.
