<![CDATA[Help!!! Playgroup gg to excursion without parents?!?!]]>Hi,


Have you ever not join your DS or DD in playgroup to go for excursion?
Are they too young to go on an excursion without parents?

Im wondering am i paranoid. DS is gg on an excursion without me!!!!! and im getting very worried.. 😞 DS is not even 2 years old!!!

Is it a norm that parents dont join excursion when their kids in playgroup?

I remember my girl went to river safari when she’s less than 2yrs old but we still pay for the transportation which is stated on the paper. I pay for my mom who accompany my girl to go.

i remembered she went with the school excursion when she is ard 2 plus for the first time.
the teacher reassured me she will be fine

some of the centre allow parents to tag along if they are worried, maybe you can check with them?

Their 1st excursion were when they were infants and I had loads of questions for the school.. plus anxiety attack 😛

Oh really!!! Wow… They are very thoughtful. I trust his teachers. But it is me who worry too much… Actually, it is a indoor excursion and only 2 hours… hehe…

Yeah Don't worry too much. My DD also went on excursion when she was 18months. I think the teachers are more worried than me. They call me when they safely reached childcare.

Both my girls has been in infant care since young and they are now 5/6 years.

Excursions without parents is common and I can say it has been safe 😄

Where are they heading to? If it is a park, they will tag the playgroup along. Places like zoo or Hort park, they will only invite N2 and above

If you are worried, you can ask the principal and see if you can join them for 1 session to see how the teachers handle the children.
