1. they start off offering some discount for goods or services, maybe used etc of low value, few tens…value which consumers is willing to take the risk. Provide discount. Build a good reputation.

2. expand their range of goods and service. Ensure prompt delivery, improve discount due to bigger orders.

3. After building up their rep online and people start to put in bigger order and many more people join in (typically 'ask your friend lah, more people, more discount). They time their exit the moment they get their target $$$$.

So no matter what, u have to be aware of your risk…even if friend recommend coz it’s a virtual world out there.
