<![CDATA[Shichida Kindergarten]]>HI I have 2 kids, 1 5years and 1 3 years.... anyone has sent their kids to Shichida Kindergarten? Can give me some feedback? :idea:

I am one of the parent who has enrolled my boy for Jan 2011 Nursery intake, only to know that they are closing down in Oct 2010 by a phone call fm their staff.
by only informing the parents in OCt caught me off gurad and till now, i have yet to find any suitable school for my boy.

My emphathy goes to those kids that suppose to start their K2 nex year, now that the sch will cease operation fm Jan 2011, they have to go to a new school to start again while preparing to enter P1.


well, in whatever case, i continue to look for pre-school for my son now.

Only the 2 years old Kinder, not the main one though...
but if 1 part closed wont it affect the rest?

I am quite lucky was I went down to see them recently at tanjong pagar. Was deciding between them, Little Neuro and I genius. In the end chose little neuro and started with them.

The staff at TP gave me a very bad impression about them. I am not surprised since they dont see really interested in getting your business.

Does anyone have feedback on Shichida Kindergarten just opened this yr? Can you share how the child has benefited from the program and if they prepare the child from P1? Also, are they accomodating towards children who may be slower in terms of speech and fine motor skills?

But whether their cirriculum is really good is subjective, and how one see its worth (considering that the fee don't come cheap).

You are talking about the one at Tanjong Pagar, right?


My girl used to attend her lessons at the Right Brainz Ctr at Bishan for one term. I then transferred her to Little Neuro Tree at T Payoh, because they conduct their lessons in three languagues (each language for each week - English, Chinese and Japanese). Note that they are really not focusing on the langauge, but rather exposing them to it. However, LNT’s activity does not include linking memory. I managed to get some materials and have been teaching her.

the fees is 800 bucks per month and has every week 1 day of the right brain training... I am not really going for the brand... more looking at the curriculum... it's very different from all the pre schools nowadays...

My point is: if you have the $$$, go ahead and register. But, you can’t guarantee that your child is paying attention and listening in class. Branded school does not mean you will get results.
