<![CDATA[AMC Cookware]]>I have inherited a set of AMC cookware from my mom, who has decided that she has enough of cooking, but she cannot find the original cookbook (if there was one in the first place). The price is too expensive compared to even the good Swiss/Germany product. Is AMC really that good? For that price i can buy a many WMF cookwares. Thanks. Got an agent to demo at my friends place tomorrow. But very expensive. Not sure want to get or not.

Just be careful, they usually demo at their venue. But if at your friend's place & u know your friend should be no problem. This is because I've rec'd a call saying that she is the agent & wants to demo in my house. So I let the lady in & she demo making egg tarts but later recommended me other brands in exchange for AMC pots. So later I called up AMC, they said they did not send anyone up to my house. So be wary!

AMC uses less oil to cook any dishes. You can even stack up to steam stuffs. I bought one set which costs around 2k (got to confirm again, need to dig up invoice again.)
But fried things I used those non-stick pans cause I still not successful in frying stuffs using AMC pots. Maybe I used to using less oil now.

Saw your blog and yummy cakes you make. I’m not much into cake but I’ve been making my own raw chocolates using raw cacao powder and butter. They turn out the way I like but I am not able to leave them at room temp more than 5 mins, they’ll start melting. Any idea how to increase melting point of chocolate? I heard you have to do a process called tempering but how? Just trying my luck on you, thought you may know.

Quote the sales contract no. and you can call & check with them.
By the way, your sales contract form should have AMC contact no. and address too. 😉
Mine was a wedding gift more than 15 yrs ago from an aunt, never seen nor know about contract. I guess I have to call them to ask 😞

😓 ... how to explain... I love this pot.. I have been using them for years.. They cooked very fast and you dont need to add oil and water to cook vege.. and it cooked just in minutes.. The best that i like is the lid.. It has indicator that let you know whether the food boiling or cooked..

Maybe you can also ask the AMC agent to demo to you actually..
I am still using the old one, but bought the new model one as I love them.. But my old one still perfectly good until know..

Yes, AMC pots are good. Have been using them for 8 years now. Still strong except the reading on the top which shows whether food are well cooked wears off. Now, I don't need it to see them, just judge by looking at the meat or veg inside.
Need very little oil to cook a dish. Though a bit heavy, its easy to wash if you don't fried stuffs. There are stackers for steaming stuffs. I can cook a few dishes concurrently using the different size pots for various usage. One for soup, one for frying veg, one for steaming etc.
I can serve out meals in less than half an hour time excluding the preparation time on the ingredients.
