Flight departed on time for both sectors and everything went smoothly. The plane also looked very new and clean as compared to some of the previous flight I had taken with them.

My hubby and I decided why not, let try Tiger and well...they do suprised us with 2.5hrs delay inside the aircraft itself :stompfeet: :stompfeet:

We had 'shaky' flight and it was really bad that my son was holding my and so tightly and i didn't realize he was sobbing gently thinking the plane is going to explode or something...even my hubby was panicky! We thought we were the only ones that were scared the family beside us were looking at us too..so can u imagine how 'shaky' the plane was!!

For 2.5hrs delay inside i should say i'm inhaling stale air and seriously they need to change the seats! Carpets are dirty. Toilets i should say...the private bus is much cleaner.

So i guess if you wanna travel to KL guess you either take other airlines or just take those luxury coaches..i guess its worth your money tho its 5hrs drive than 45min of life shocking experience :yikes:

So far did not experience any problems or cancellation. My recent trip to Penang also went smoothly.


With all the negative feedback, I do feel worried. But the fare is much cheaper compared to other airlines. You also get a fair share of complains with other budget like Jetstar & Air Asia as well.

I feel that the regular flights that are always on demand will tend to be more stable.

IT HAS been frustrating using the Singapore Airline's website. How can customers book their flights when the site shuts down before the schedule can be viewed and tickets purchased?

On Sept 5, I wasted a lot of time trying to book tickets. To SIA's credit, its staff called after I e-mailed a complaint and I was able to book one set of tickets. But later, when I tried to make further bookings for other destinations, I encountered more problems. This time, I could not be bothered with complaining again, so SIA lost our two bookings.

In today's globally connected, high-tech environment, a world-class airline cannot afford to have its website shut down for even a minute, let alone off and on for days at a time.

it is random, that is the problem - the system is full of bugs

and by the way, the problem started fron May 22, 2011, and the CEO only sent a letter of apology in July, and now is September, problem still persists

Hence, not taking the risk to book with them. No choice but to book TransAsia to TPE.

the new website since May 22, 2011 has been crashing and only works on and off

tried checking in for my next flight and the website told me my booking has been cancelled.......they are in a big mess right now ....... i can book under my krisflyer account but they keep prompting me there is no frequent flyer number in my account eventhough I logged on using that very account number

SIA is quite a joke these days

first airline totally grounded by Australia for safety lapses and non-compliance with maintenance

it takes a little carelessness to have a big disaster, just like SQ 6 in Taipei

largest shareholder is SIA means nothing. they are hands off until the grounding by OZ government

then they replaced the head and asked JY Pillay the former SIA head to run the operation…it tells you how serious is the problem, else they won’t even dare call upon Pillay

Yeah, you get what you paid.

The seats are quite narrow, so generally quite ok if it’s a short trip. Perth was too far I think. Luckily both flights were not delayed.
