This month alone I was 'spotted' by TP twice. Once 2 motor patrol pulled along side me and claimed I was using the HP while I wasn't. No summon issued although it wasn't at all safe to come out of the car on a busy e'way.


then got a warning for speeding along Lornie on a Sat morning.

1) TPE - overhead bridge btw Punggol exit and Lor Halus
2) KJE - overhead bridge btw Choa Chu Kang and Sungei Tengah towards PIE Jurong direction
3) SLE - on the overhead bridge which leads to Mandai Columbarium, btw Upper Thomson and Woodlands

I feel they are very sneaky with this tactic - intentionally camping out to hunt for the accidental speedsters, instead of patrolling along the expressways to DETER or apprehend the real speedsters.

There's often one at the overhead bridge along braddell road too, infront of SPH building.

some time they lurk around the o/h bridge near the Jap Association too.....especially coming down from the Farrer flyover, such pick up speed one...and kena !

I travel that stretch very often as well. During off peak hours, very easy to unconsciously travel faster then 70km/hr. I also kenna dunno how many warnings oredi.

Last week Saturday morning, I was at the carpark above Bishan Bus Interchange.


I drove one round and I came across a man waiting in his car on the right side nearer to the car wash business. I decided to wait for a lot and to prevent any misunderstanding, I drove towards the other end and put on my hazzard light and waited on the left side.

Luckily for me, a man whose car was parked besides me got in. So, I moved up to allow him to exit.

Lo and below...the man who was waiting at the far end drove up and prevent me from reversing into the lot. He shouted at me and said that he waited for almost an hour for a lot and he deserved that lot. And that he is prepared to cause a stalemate.

I told him loudly \"Sir, just because you waited for almost an hour doesn't mean that you are entitled to the lot as you were waiting at the other end whereas I was besides it\". And asked him to be a gentleman and luckily, he came to his senses and move off.

I am sharing this incident not to get confirmation to affirm my actions but to clarify whether rules have changed for such situation.

I have been in that poor man's situation before and I consoled myself by saying \"it all boils down to timing and luck\".

For those who know they won't speed but there was once I encountered a guy while i was on lane 1 along Lornie Rd, he flashed n tailgated me. Since I was already at 70km/hr n same goes for the rest on my left and front, I couldn't give way to him. So, he changed to lane 2 and forced the driver on my left side to speed up. For those who used this road, you must have noticed that the lanes are pretty narrow. Then, he did a most despicable & dangerous act by pulling up close to my car & tried to force me to the center divider. Luckily for me, I kept my cool and didn't let it affect my driving. I started to horn non-stop till he gave up and speed off. Unfortunately, not before showing me his middle finger.

It is too bad that we are not able to take action against motorists who like to use their middle finger despite otherwise reported on the papers.
