<![CDATA[Star Learners]]>Hi all, i am interested in Star Learner branksome branch after viewing their website. However after calling them for inquiry the principal seems impatient and dodgy. She wanted me to view the school only in the afternoon but I insisted to see it in the morning.


She was also hesitant when asked abt the teacher-student ratio.

Anyone has feedback on this school? How abt the other neat by branch in
Boscombe?

Appreciate any feedback from parent.

Tbh I actually signed up based on their virtual tour & the concept of the school.
Other than that I actually don’t have much clue about the branch there.

And usually for full-day CC, how many uniforms are required usually?

My daughter is currently in N1 and she really looks forward to school everyday and also the food 😅 Teacher Mai is her favorite teacher as well as mine. She is really patient and makes great effort to keep me updated and informed about my daughter's well being in school making me really assured and they take pride in working closely with parents to ensure we are on the same line when it comes to disciplining the kids. Their principal Ms Cai ying is also very sincere from the way she listen and speaks whenever I have any feedbacks. Highly recommended!

How’s the curriculum at Star Learners itself? I understand its literature based but does it apply to PG as well? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. I will be scheduling a school tour soon, just hope to keep myself informed of the center before dropping by.

Hi,
Last week i went to look at the centre after my friend recommended it. I really liked the place. The principal , Mrs Diana Ezra, was the one who conducted the school tour. She was very informative. She shared with me about the curriculum which was their literature based. She even shared with us about how we can transit our child into the centre slowly and also shared about separation anxiety in the child. She shared with us the different mode of communication she uses such as whatsapp broadcast communication, sharing of album and photos in their new app to communicate with parents. I also saw that the whole year's events and centre closure dates were planned and placed strategically for parents. Alot of trips and parent involvement activities. It was mentioned that the details are given to parents when children's join the centre. Mrs Diana Ezra carried herself very confidently. Can see she is a very experienced principal. She has been there since the centre started almost 5 years.


When i go there, the teachers were all conducting different activities in the class, some children even said hi to us and the teachers ask them to greet us. Very friendly and loving teachers.I also noticed that they are SPARK accredited which gives me the confidence that they are on par with the MOE framework and guidelines.


The place looks really conducive, air conditioned, i like the environment full of greenery abit sad that they have no vacancy this year as their wait list is very long, only limited vacancy for next year. They even have parents who have registered for 2021 so as to reserve the slots.Unfortunately, i needed vacancy for this year. I will highly recommend this centre if you looking for next year or so.
