Basically looking out for the following in my considerations:


1) Quality of teachers - able to manage students with good class management
2) Programmes - Enhanced with tuition, enrichments, play and recreational activities, special holiday programmes etc.
3) Environment - Clean, neat and spacious.

- Bukit Panjang Student Care Centre @ Pending Road
- Moral Student Care Centre @ Blk 141
- I thought there was one at Cashew heights, but it seems no longer in operation?

Only Gifted Learners allow me to visit during their lesson times which made me feel they are confident of their management. 😉

I didn't call up before the visits. Though I think it would be better to call up prior to visits and go during when the supervisors are around. Overall, I prefer the set-up of Gifted Leaners as they have separate areas for classrooms and eating. The rest, I believe the children will eat on the desks where they do homework. Price-wise, they are all around $270 to $300 per month. Addition cost for materials, school holidays, etc.

My gal is paying $300 (Old student fees). For new student i think is 320.

The student care will provide lunch and walk the students to school.
And they also will help to sent those students who needs to attend CCA
at a paritcular time slot.

They will revise the spelling and ting xie with them. They will ask the parents to buy a standard list of assesment books for the student care and they will teach them.

The student care is in a RC premises.

So far, i have to Gloryland and Pro-Teach. I prefer Smiling star as the environment is bright and clean.
