He has a lot of phlegm. THis time round when we brought him to the doctor, we were told that the phelgm gets in to the lungs and causes blockage. If this recur in a few months’ time it will be diagnose as asthma.

I have noticed that ds is always having a lot of phlegm. Does some food causes him to have them. The regular food i give him include :

- cod liver oil in the morning
- Scott Emulsion mixed berries pastille
- Wolfberries, red dates and dried scallop for his soup
- fish
- Fruits like pears, apples
- Milk powder Mamil
- Eggs - soft boiled or hard boiled

Ds goes to full day child care and he is 3 years old.

I am dead worried. Are the above foods causing him to have phlegm? Will taking bird nest rectify this problem? What about cordyceps? Shall i bring him to a TCM doc?

Thanks!
