Please do feel welcome to provide  any feedbacks, comments on your kids coping with  IB or ‘O’ level. From the MOE website, I’m able to see 6 schools offering MEP. Which school is offering better course or are they all similar structures &amp; guidelines from MOE?<br /><br />I need help on this matter. Thank you.</p>

Is the travelling and coping with an extra Music subject very hectic and make the child very tired? Does he/she have enough time to complete the day’s homework after reaching home in the evening? I am encouraging my child to apply for it since she has a strong interest and passion in Music and is somewhat musically inclined. But she is worried that she may not be able to cope with so many other subjects. <br />Thanks in advance!~</p>

Like Drama Elective, and another popular elective is Art (AEP).  Foreign Language, which is popular among Sec 1s, is actually also an Elective.  Not one of the core subjects definitely. <br /><br />As for whether it can be in place of Home-Ec or D&amp;T may depend on the school.  Most schools put the MEP out of the usual school hours, eg. afternoon of certain schooldays ... so it may not be in place of home ec or D&amp;T which might be time-tabled into the regular hours. and ya, you are correct some IP schools don't have HC or D&amp;T . It sounds interesting… MEP students will be conducting workshops, and parents can also attend the concert and briefing. The workshops sound interesting, think students will get to learn about music and dance, as well as conducting.
