for myself, i would like to wear jeans or trackpants and a baggy tee plus a jacket (am afraid of cold). socks and running shoes a must too.

Imagine you have a family tree made up of these diamonds that will be passed from one generation to the next. So nice hor.

but i would definitely like to keep my dh’s ashes at home should he be the one to go first. after my death, it doesnt matter what happened to our ashes.

Since my funeral is not for me but for those I hold dear and that I will leave behind, I guess I should be in my most presentable set of daily clothes. Allowing them ton have the most "naturally" and "comfortable" feeling to bid the final farewell and move on.


… DS was writing what I type above, and he said that I should wear the ugliest clothes I have, and leave the nice ones for my ghost to wear.

If I have my way, when I lay in the coffin, I wish to wear my fav team soccer jersey - which unforunately is red with white sleeves - with my right hand holding the stack of love letters ds wrote me when he was 3, and my left hand wearing my wedding ring.

Nowadays finger too fat so cannot wear that comfortably anymore. But I suppose dead already won't feel so much discomfort rite? πŸ˜‚

... Saw a show by Wong Lilin on this.... I used to take intestine during kwai chap but after that show, I no longer do it and cannot bring myself to eat it as well. It left a deep impression on me.

It's true, if the mortician actually worked on you, not possible to be alive anymore. Unless one choose not to be embalm?

cant imagine waking up buried xx feet underground and die slowly and painfully.

but can the coffin not be covered when moving towards the fire? at least still got a chance to sit up or move a leg or two and scream "not dead". if covered up, might not have voice to scream or strength to kick and pp behind the glass might not hear too.
